Founder and Principal Economist Dr. Christopher Herrington leads Macro Insights Advisory. As a tenured Associate Professor of Economics at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business, Dr. Herrington has two decades of experience analyzing regional, national, and global economic data. Having worked and consulted for the Federal Reserve Banks in Richmond, Minneapolis, and St. Louis, he is a trusted voice on macroeconomic conditions. A dynamic and engaging teacher and public speaker, Dr. Herrington is a past recipient of the VCU School of Business Distinguished Teaching Award. He completed his PhD at Arizona State University and has presented his research at leading universities and government institutions around the world, including the World Bank, the Federal Reserve Board of Governers, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Clemson University, and the University of Mannheim (Germany).
